- 1947: Fabrimex was founded. Distribution of Bosch capacitors in Switzerland.
- 1955: Getting started in electronics. Partner of International Rectifier and Texas Instruments.
- 1978: Start of development and production of power supplies. Growth in exports.
- 1988: Exista AG was founded as a specialist provider of industrial power supplies.
- 1995: Fabrimex operates its Power Supplies division as a separate company.
- 2000: Industry Focus: Mobility, MedTec, Infrastructure, Home Appliances, Manufacturing.
- 2016: Exista and Fabrimex's quality management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015.
- 2023: Fabrimex becomes a subsidiary of Exista AG.
- 2024: Move into the new headquarters with a technical laboratory in Mönchaltorf.
- 2024: Integration of Fabrimex into Exista AG. The Fabrimex brand stays.
- 2025: Combination of power supplies and power electronics (PowerParts integration).
