PowerParts-Acquisition and Management Change
Exista AG announces the acquisition of PowerParts AG by Vipotal Holding AG, the parent company of Exista AG, effective April 1, 2025. Exista AG strengthens its position as a leading provider of power supply solutions and expands its expertise in the field of power electronics. The acquisition marks a decisive step in the implementation of Exista's 2030 strategy, which is aimed at innovative total power solutions and sustainable growth.
PowerParts AG has been a respected partner for electronic components and assemblies in Switzerland for 23 years. With a diversified customer base from industry and technology and a
well-stocked warehouse in Spreitenbach, the company brings valuable resources and expertise to the Group. The takeover is part of an orderly succession plan. The combination with PowerParts AG
will not only expand the portfolio but also create significant added value to the market.

Management change at Exista and PowerParts: Thomas Fischer new CEO
Exista is also announcing a change in the company's management as part of its strategic development. As of April 1, 2025, Thomas Fischer (53) will become the new CEO of Exista AG and PowerParts AG. He succeeds Ernst Roth at Exista and takes over at PowerParts from Hansjörg Baur, who is leaving the company. The second co-owner, Matthias Schütz, will remain active in sales and will continue to serve customer and supplier needs. Ernst Roth will concentrate on his role as member of the Board of Directors.
Thomas Fischer, previously Business Development Manager at Exista and Sales Engineer at PowerParts, has over 30 years of experience in the power supply industry. With his expertise and broad network, he will continue to further strengthen the company's strategic development as a leading provider of innovative power solutions.
